An LED Power Supply converts standard 230V AC mains electricity to the low-voltage DC power required to safely operate LED products.

Always use the same voltage Power Supply as the LED product.

Examples:

• 12V LED Strip Light → 12V Power Supply
• 24V LED Strip Light → 24V Power Supply

Calculate the required wattage using the following formula:

Strip Light Length (m) × Power (Watts/m) + 15%

Example:

5m × 10W/m = 50W

50W + 15% = 57.5W

Therefore, a 60W or 75W Power Supply would be suitable.

It is highly unlikely to receive a dangerous electric shock from the low-voltage output (12V or 24V DC) of the Power Supply.

However, we always recommend completing the installation, checking all connections thoroughly, and only then connecting the Power Supply to the 230V mains supply.
